The Ruch Christmas 2007

The Ruch Christmas started with cooking food and watching 'Balls of Fury'. Dinner was real good. We had ham, taters, green been casserole, corn, pretzel salad, and rolls. My favorite was the rolls. They were yeast and tasted so yummy!

We promptly proceeded to open presents. The kids were so anxious. Many great gifts were given. The kids got a Wii (from Uncle Bill and Aunt Karen), a computer, and new cell phones. On Christmas, they also got cameras. AJ and UK gave Blue Man Group tickets to everyone. Thank you! We are all attending this event April 20! Aubrey got a cute outfit, books, and a toy remote (which she thinks is a phone) from the Ruchs. Dad and Deb gave us awesome Best Buy gift cards. Thank you Dad and Deb! We gave the kids a cocoa set that was a circle with three divisions. It was a gift designed to have them appreciate being each others brother and sister because at that age it is so easy to not get along....I remember Cass. :) We gave Dad and Deb a cool Japanese looking tea set with loose tea. The kettle is round with a hole in the middle. It has a tea light candle warmer that the kettle sits on. Real neat! AJ and UK got a cute mug and tea with an infuser from us. We also got a bunch of yummy cookies from AJ and UK. Uncle David got World of Warcraft and a computer from Dad. That was a very nice gift! UD had a few tears in his eyes. Nina made us ornaments. Steph bought us a Christmas Tree decoration. Brennan made us cards. Thanks kids!

If the pics look foggy...I started a fire...in the fireplace of course...and forgot to open the vent. Oops!

Aubrey is also taking a few steps!

It was a really nice Christmas. Ryan had to work that morning and was sick, but it was still great. We closed our Christmas eve by playing Ultimate Alliance at home for a few minutes. I had to work at 5 am on Christmas.
